Channel Resource Upload Guide¶
Channels are created to address the following needs:
To accommodate a larger selection of content which needs to be grouped together by roles or communities of users.
To target access of the wider group of content to a specific role or community.
The content collection does not solve for a well-defined learning need; therefore, alternatives must be created. This content then serves to provide possible solutions for multiple knowledge gaps falling under specific topical roles or communities of persons and activities.
To fully address any knowledge gaps and achieve content continuity, some information may need to be engaged in a more prescribed order.
Occasionally, a knowledge seeker may not need to complete all the learning content associated with a particular channel, in this case the focus and use of the channel is more informal.
