Channel Resource Upload Guide¶
Channels are created to address the following needs:
- To accommodate a larger selection of content which needs to be grouped together by roles or communities of users.
- To target access of the wider group of content to a specific role or community.
- The content collection does not solve for a well-defined learning need; therefore, alternatives must be created. This content then serves to provide possible solutions for multiple knowledge gaps falling under specific topical roles or communities of persons and activities.
- To fully address any knowledge gaps and achieve content continuity, some information may need to be engaged in a more prescribed order.
- Occasionally, a knowledge seeker may not need to complete all the learning content associated with a particular channel, in this case the focus and use of the channel is more informal.
