Close Transaction
=================

A transaction must be in balance (**Approved** status) in order to be set to **Closed**. The money received plus any adjustments must equal the pay to KW plus any disbursements.

To close a transaction, complete the following steps:

#. Click the **Transaction** tab at the top of the page:

#. Search for the correct transaction. For more information, see :ref:`search-transactions-commandmc`.

#. Click the transaction number to view the transaction details.

#. Click **Close Transaction**.
