Call or Text a Contact
======================

To call or text a contact, complete the following steps:

#. On the left toolbar, click **Contacts** |contacts-icon|.

#. In the **Contacts** list, click the name of the contact you want to edit.

#. Click on the contact's phone number.

#. On the **Client Interaction** window, click the call or text button.

   a. If you click the call button, you can enter **Timeline Details** to note this call on the contact's timeline. Click **Add Timeline**.

   #. If you click the text button, enter the **Text Message** and attach any additional files by dragging them to the window or browsing for them. Click **Send SMS**.

      The contact must have a phone number that accepts texts.
